Dentures/Partials

Dentures, partials, and bridges, are a fixed or removable replacement for teeth. Tooth replacement becomes necessary when the tooth and its roots have been irreparably damaged, and the tooth has been lost or must be removed. We recommend that a missing permanent tooth be replaced or else the teeth on either side of the space will tilt towards the gap, and the teeth in the opposite jaw begin to move towards the space.

We provide many options for his patients who are missing teeth.

Dentures
A full denture is made is used to restore all the teeth on one or both arches.

Partials

A removable partial denture is used to replace multiple (but not all) missing teeth when there is         insufficient natural teeth to support a fixed bridge. This device rests on the soft tissues of the jaws,         and is held in place with metal clasps.

Bridges
A fixed bridge can be used if there are healthy teeth present and adjacent to the space where the tooth or teeth have been lost. The bridge is anchored to the surrounding teeth by crowns, or caps, which are affixed to the healthy teeth.

Implants
An implant is an individual titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth. After the integration of the post, a crown is placed as the permanent restoration.

If you are missing some of your teeth, your dentist may recommend dental implants to replace the roots of the missing teeth and implant crowns to rebuild your teeth in a beautiful and natural looking manner. Compared to other treatment options to replace missing teeth, such as bridges and removable partials, implants with implant crowns offer a long-lasting solution for missing teeth and require fewer follow-up office visits.
